HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended on a mixed note on April 23.
The Nikkei 225 rallied 53.75 points to touch 20,187.65, while the Topix Index increased 3.08 points to end at 1,624.87 in Tokyo.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 16.01 points to close at 4,414.51 in mainland China, and the Hang Seng Index lost 106.15 points to close at 27,827.70 in Hong Kong.
In Singapore, the Strait Times Index added 6.51 points to end at 3,502.75.
Vietnamese bourses ended on a mixed note on the same day. The VN Index slid 1.26 points to close at 561.25, and the HNX Index slipped 0.25 points to end the day at 83.04.— VNS
