HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian share prices ended mixed on December 23, with the oil prices falling further in the world market.
Markets in Japan were shut for a national holiday to celebrate the Emperor's birthday. The Nikkei 225 remained unchanged at 17,635.14, while the Topix Index remained at 1,413.05.
The Hang Seng Index declined 74.88 points to close at 23,333.69 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index fell 94.83 points to end the day at 3,032.61 in mainland China.
The Straits Times Index increased by 1.55 points to end at 3,232.51 in Singapore.
The VN Index added 0.34 points to close at 537.88, while the HNX lost 0.13 points to end the day at 82.42. — VNS
