HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The ninth International Travel Expo HCM City, a key annual international tourism event, will open in HCM City on September 11-14.

The exhibition will showcase quality tourism products and services, encourage competitiveness and promotes Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam as attractive tourism destination.

The event has become a recognised platform for organisations from the Asia Pacific region and beyond to promote tourism and business exchange in their respective countries.

This year's event will include a ministerial conference attended by leaders from the five countries and a conference for the mayors of tourism cities in the Mekong Sub-region. Hundreds of people from 30 countries and territories are expected to attend. — VNS
