HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The first ever expo targeted at children and family in Viet Nam will be held in August at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre by Born Rich Ltd. Co. and Oriental Destinations Co.

Kenny Chiang, managing director of Bornrich Company Ltd., said local companies have been urged to take part in the exhibition to reach potential customers.

The Children & Family Expo will also be the first large B2C event in the country, offering a wide range of products and services that will appeal to household consumers and families.

There will be over 150 booths showcasing nutrition, education, healthcare, insurance and financial, fitness and wellness, apparel and footwear, entertainment, and travel products and services.

At the expo will be two stages, one with specialist guest speakers speaking on topics parents and household consumers will find relevant and interesting, and on another stage will be all kinds of performances and interactive activities offering day-long entertainment.

There will be also three pre-expo gaming events -- "baby crawling tournament", "almighty dad competition" and "junior chef competition."

The expo hopes to attract more than 50,000 visitors. — VNS
