Nguyen Anh Duc, General Director of the Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI) and Santiago Quesada Garmendia, Director of exploration and production and gas technology of Spain based Repsol S.A. energy company signed a co-operation deal on behalf of their companies.
The agreement, signed on February 27, 2017 in Ha Noi, aims to boost collaboration between VPI and Reopsol S.A. in areas such as research of exploration methods, assessment of bore pit placement, design completion, a collecting and processing system, extraction methods, anti rust technology, energy saving, product development research, laboratory services and human resource training.
With the agreement, Repsol hopes to expand technology and establish joint co-operative projects with VPI to develop new technological solutions.
Meanwhile, VPI expects to upgrade managerial and technological abilities through advanced technology, increase global co-operation through joint research projects and work together on petrol technological services.
