Flamingo Cat Ba Beach Resort in Hai Phong City will be the first tourist site in Viet Nam to have 5G mobile network coverage.

5G (the fifth generation cellular network technology that provides broadband access) will be provided to Flamingo Group by the Viettel Group (mobile network operator), following an MoU signed between the two sides on May 29.

The groups' cooperation aims to upgrade service quality in the field of tourism. Viettel Group will also advise and provide Flamingo Group with solutions and applications for managing business and customer care, and building smart construction works.

Le Thi Van Anh, vice general director of Flamingo Group, said that both groups want to offer modern technology to customers and boost the development of modern society in Viet Nam.

“We expect our co-operation will meet the demand of customers and offer them more benefits,” she said. — VNS
