Vietjet operated at least 1,501 flights, carrying nearly 260,000 passengers on Vietnamese National Day, which fell on September 2.
“This holiday, the number of passengers we carried increased by 27 per cent against the same period last year, while the on-time performance stood at 88.3 per cent,” Vietjet said in its statement.
On this occasion, the airline also announced its new route connecting HCM City and Jakarta (Indonesia), while officially opening the Ha Noi–Yangon (Myanmar) route.
It also offered passengers many interesting and meaningful activities, such as on-board welcoming by Vietjet’s flight attendants and employees in costumes featuring the Vietnamese national flag, and ’the Great Circle of Viet Nam’ special flight, in which nearly 200 passengers sang together with an Acapella choir.
In addition to these, passengers had the chance to receive amazing gifts and participate in a lucky draw for Vietjet’s free return domestic tickets. — VNS
