Vicostone, one of the top four quartz-based engineered stone producers in the world, was honoured with the Labour Order First Class on its 15th anniversary at a ceremony held in Ha Noi on Friday.

Ho Xuan Nang, chairman of Vicostone, said that the past 15 years had been a journey of overcoming adversities to develop a company on the verge of bankruptcy into one of the most efficient businesses on the domestic stock market.

Nang said that the company would continue to be a pioneer in creativity and innovation, offering quartz of the highest quality while pursuing a development strategy of sustainability and efficiency.

On Friday, Vicostone also launched a new brand identity with a message of “realising all commitments” and rising to new heights.

Founded in 2002 as a subsidairy of the Viet Nam Construction and Import – Export Joint Stock Coporation (Vinaconex), Vicostone has undergone restructuring four times with Vinaconex’s stake reducing from 60 per cent to 5 per cent together alongside increases in foreign stakeholders and a business strategy focusing on export.

Vicostone is now a member of A&A Green Phoenix Group Joint Stock Company and one of the world’s leading quartz-based engineered stone producers with a presence in more than 40 countries and territories including the US, Canada, Australia and Europe.— VNS
