Vietjet on Friday celebrated the debut of the airline’s two newest international routes connecting HCM City to Thai tourist destinations Phuket and Chiang Mai.
The routes are expected to meet increasing travel demand of both sides while contributing to promoting trading and integration in the region, Vietjet said in a statement.
The HCM City – Phuket route operates a return flight every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights depart HCM City at 10.15am and arrive in Phuket at 12.10pm. Return flights take off at 1.05pm in Phuket and land in HCM City at 3.10pm.
Meanwhile, the HCM City – Chiang Mai route will operate a return flight every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Flights leave Ho Chi Minh City at 11.35am and arrive in Chiang Mai at 1.30pm. Return flights take off at 2.20pm in Chiang Mai and land in HCM City at 4.25pm.
By opening two more new routes, Vietjet now operates six flights to Thailand from Viet Nam. — VNS
