Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers has paid a special visit and donated gifts to needy children who live at the Be Tho Centre in Dong Nai Province.

The centre is home to 145 children.

The charity trip was part of the hotel staff’s efforts to help disadvantaged children throughout the year.

“We are proud of the differences our charity initiatives have made over the past 16 years. It’s amazing to see that each year we are able to keep our wishes to give back to local society, and that improvements were made to many unfortunate lives in HCM City where the hotel operates.

"The sterling commitment delivered by the hotel team as well as the company's support makes the progress more meaningful and creates a sustainable impact,” said Scott Hodgetts, the hotel’s general manager.

Amid the excitement and joy, the hotel team also shared little goodies with the children and donated food and clothes to the centre.

“As a team, we believe that together we can further raise awareness of the meaningful service. The Be Tho Centre takes care of these children as well as nurtures a caring culture among the hotel employees, our guests, and business partners,” Hodgetts added.  — VNS
