French pharmaceutical company Sanofi unveiled on June 20 two new headquarters in HCM City for its biopharma and consumer healthcare businesses.

It is in The Nexus building on Nguyen Sieu Street in District 1.

Emin Turan, general manager for Vietnam, said Sanofi aspires to be the first pharmaceutical company in the country to have a WELL-certified office environment.

“This decision demonstrates our long-term vision as we focus on building an international-standard workplace that fosters human resources development, creates an empowering corporate culture and promotes individual accountability and collaboration across teams."

The office embraces the activity based working model, eliminating traditional partitions and private rooms to promote equality and encourage interaction among members and across departments.

Employees are free to choose their workspace according to their individual preferences and job requirements.

This flexibility extends to Sanofi's existing remote work policy, offering employees greater autonomy and work-life balance.

The office demonstrates the company’s commitment to inclusion by ensuring comfort and accessibility for all employees, including those with disabilities.

It has a clinic and nursing room for mothers.

Kevin Doak, country head, Vietnam & Cambodia, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare (SHC), said the new workspace would serve as a catalyst for innovation and specialised expertise, helping his division realise its mission of putting health in people’s hands.

The opening of the offices is also the first step in the company’s plans to separate SHC by the fourth quarter of 2024 at the earliest. — VNS
