Sacombank has been named among the Top 10 Most Innovative Enterprises Vietnam (VIE10) in the banking sector in 2023 by Vietnam Investment Review and Viet Research.
Given for the first time, the awards aim to honour businesses in various sectors for creativity and innovation that contribute to improving business efficiency.
Sacombank was praised for its business efficiency, growth potential, innovative strategy, added value through innovation and creativity, and open corporate culture.
It has expanded online banking services (internet banking, mobile banking), comprehensively upgraded the Sacombank Pay financial app to enable customers to perform banking transactions at any time and from anywhere, deployed fintech solutions such as contactless payment services, and applied blockchain technology to enhance security and safety and the customer experience.

It has also received the 2023 “Top 50 Corporate Sustainability Award” in the category of Outstanding Risk Management Platform from Nhip Cau Dau Tu magazine.
The recognitions are a testament to Sacombank’s continuous efforts on its journey to become a leading modern and multi-functional retail bank in Viet Nam, the bank says.
Sacombank has successfully adopted all three pillars of Basel II and began last month a project on implementing Basel III and strengthening its risk management capacity to take risk management to the next level.
Its operational safety indicators are strictly controlled as is its credit quality. Control of credit and operational risks are ensured at all of its branches.
Previously, Sacombank won awards from International Business magazine for “Best Digital Transformation Bank Vietnam” and "Most Innovative Retail Bank Vietnam” for 2023.— VNS
