Panasonic Vietnam has received the Golden Dragon 2019 Award as a leading consumer electronics and home appliances manufacturer which contributes to the sustainable development of Viet Nam.
“Entering the second century, with our business expansion worldwide, Panasonic continues to affirm our basic business philosophy with a desire of constantly contributing to each Vietnamese persons life and the countrys prosperous development. The Golden Dragon 2019 Award once again recognizes our commitment to society and Panasonics frequent contributions to Vietnams development process in the past 60 years,” said Kazuhiro Matsushita, general director of Panasonic Vietnam.
Present in Viet Nam since the 1950s, the company has grown into a leading consumer electronics brand and has expanded its business in many areas. In 2018, Panasonic enjoyed sales turnover of over US$1 billion with a total investment of $243 million.
As part of its business in Viet Nam, Panasonic has implemented diversified corporate social responsibility and human development activities.
Viet Nam is one of the strategic markets of Panasonic in Asia Pacific, according to the company. Thus, it will continue promoting the value of “co-creation” and “lifestyle-update” strategies, providing products and services that evolve with the individual end-users personal preferences and way of life, addressed by the companys President, Kazuhiro Tsuga, at the Cross-Value Innovation Forum 2018.
The Golden Dragon Award is hosted by Vietnam Economic Times.
