Panasonic Vietnam recently introduced a new solution for all users and supports deaf and hearing-impaired for a better life called Video Door-Phone at a seminar titled “Architecture for Deaf and Hearing-Impaired – Inclusive Architecture and Technical Solutions for Deaf and Hearing-Impaired”.
According to the company, the system offers many conveniences, integrating a security camera and doorbell with an indoor monitoring system.
Family members and the deaf or hearing-impaired can easily identify, communicate and open doors automatically to guests from indoor monitors.
In addition to facilitating communication, it is also a solution to mitigate potential security risks and protect the house round the clock.
Masaaki Kobayashi, general director of Panasonic Vietnam, said: “Panasonic is not only a leading Japanese manufacture of consumer electronics, but also a pioneer in providing business-to-business [B2B] total solutions such as security systems, door phones, commercial air conditioners and lights and switches to develop residential urban areas, commercial complexes, and communities to ensure a modern, comfortable and safe lifestyle for everyone. We expect to introduce Panasonic B2B solutions more widely in Việt Nam.”
In parallel with manufacturing and business activities, the company conducts corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities around the world. In Việt Nam, it launched a scholarship programme for Vietnamese students, a 100,000-solar lantern project to support remote communities, an annual tree planting “For a Green Việt Nam” activity, and the Kids Witness News program, among others.
Panasonic Corp is a worldwide leader in the development of diverse electronics technologies and solutions for customers in consumer electronics, housing, automotive, enterprise solutions and device industries.
