HA NOI (Biz Hub) — US based winery Opus One and Vietnamese wine distributor Da Loc Fine Wines and Spirits (Da Loc) launched the Opus One wine event in Ha Noi on September 7, 2016.
Attending the event were Opus One winery's Laurent Delassus, Vice President of International Marketing, and Yvonne Chiong Mougin, Export Manager for Asia.
The event was held at the Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, featuring a five course dinner for 20 guests created by Chef Olivier Genique, to match the Opus One vintages from 2010 to 2013.
Opus One is a winery in California, USA, incorporating French Bordeaux wine blending styles with the Bordeaux varietals grown in California.
Opus One exports over 20 per cent of its wines, mainly to Europe. The winery has chosen Da Loc as their first distributor of the 2013 vintage wine in Viet Nam.
The winery was founded by the late Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Robert Mondavi. — VNS
