MM Mega Market celebrates Thai festival

MM Mega Market Vietnam organised Songkran Festivan in HCM City last weekend, attracting thousands of visitors.

Held at its An Phu store, the festival featured a number of programmes.

There was a water LED drum performance, Songkran Festival photo booth, lucky draws with gifts of Thai specialties, and a series of games inspired by the splashing of colour water during the festival.

Besides, 11 MM stores also organised a Buddha Bathing ritual that is customary in Thailand during the festival.

During the two weeks of the festival, all MM outlets will sell around 1,000 imported food and beverage items, household appliances and many others from Thailand at discounts of up to 49 per cent.

Bruno Jousselin, managing director of MM Mega Market Vietnam, said: “In ASEAN, Thailand is currently the largest trading partner of Viet Nam and Viet Nam is also the largest export partner of Thailand with two-way trade in 2020 reaching US$15.9 billion.
