Masterise Group has officially announced “Build A Better Future” - a long-term corporate social responsibility programme, which consists of progressive initiatives and practical values for the community.

Targeting urgent local challenges, Build A Better Future is designed toward the United Nations Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs). The programme aims to develop initiatives, practical solutions and actions to enhance the living environment and elevate the country's prosperity and development through a solid strategic three-pronged approach: “Environment – Education – Humanitarian Aid.”

The first approach concentrates on providing a sustainable living environment by developing resilient infrastructure and promoting inclusive and sustainable values. Aside from developing smart and sustainable cities and communities, Masterise joins hands with the local authorities in developing infrastructure and providing services to address the needs of the rural communities.

Masterise Group sets goals to enhance the quality of education and raise social awareness, ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.

To deliver humanitarian aid, the group commits to accompanying, enabling, and connecting communities as they grapple with complex challenges such as natural disasters and epidemics. This not only works toward SDGs but also responds to the government’s motto, “No One Left  Behind.” 

Masterise Group also announced the long-term strategic partnership with UNICEF Vietnam for 2022-2024 in the “Innovation For Children” project.

The project comprises innovations to enhance the living environment and education for future generations through introducing and testing innovative education technology to address learning poverty, as well as child-led innovation in schools by testing and scaling up the climate-resilient Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programme.

“By supporting these key priorities through its CSR plan, Masterise Group contributes to achieving the SDGs,” said Rana Flowers, UNICEF Representative for Viet Nam.

“We celebrate Masterise Group’s support as an example of the important role that can be played to improve the development outcomes for children, contribute to the prosperity of the country in the future, and actively tackle the challenges of climate change.”

“Build A Better Future” is also a long-term partner with Room to Read in the “Girl’s Education Programme” – an effort to eliminate discrimination in education.

Through the programme, Masterise Group supports girls with difficulties in completing their schooling years and collaborates with Room to Read, and others to organise classes on life skills education and counselling and give mental support empowering them to shape their future. — VNS
