LIAN, an automatic insurance application that uses artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies, has been launched in HCM City.

With the new app, customers can complete the whole registration process and payment within a minute and immediately receive the insurance certificate.

Insurance claims will also be settled instantly.

The app also offers other features like freecalls between users, a 50 per cent saving on telephone tariffs for calls made to non-LIAN users, a search engine for health insurance, and others.

Do Thi Kim Lien, the founder of LIAN insurance and special advisor to VASS Assurance Corporation, said the app would authenticate digital signatures and use blockchain technology to secure customers’ personal information.

AI, big data, voice ID, and e-learning are used to help sales agents improve customer service, she said.
