Herbalife Vietnam organised a series of Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations for more than 1,100 children at seven Casa Herbalife Centers nationwide with many fun and meaningful activities brought by the company’s independent members and employees.
The programme created a lot of positive energy and excitement through the interaction between the volunteers and the children, the singing, dancing and martial arts performed by the children, and the joyful lantern-making competitions.
Herbalife Vietnam's independent members and employees also presented generous gifts to the children including mooncakes and school stationery.
"It is true happiness seeing all of you giving your time to bring a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival to underprivileged children at our seven shelters. The long-term and continuous support from Herbalife Vietnam and the Casa Program means a lot to our children. It gives them more confidence to overcome difficulties to become successful in the future," said Nguyễn Thị Huệ, President of the Women's Charity Association of HCM City.
“The Mid-Autumn Festival is part of our annual community support agenda which is aimed at helping children and communities in need to live happier and have better health and wellness in the long run,” said Vũ Văn Thắng, General Manager of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia.
The Casa Herbalife Vietnam Programme was launched in 2013 in alignment with the Casa Herbalife Nutrition Programme by the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation (HNF) to provide good nutrition to children in need around the world. Since then, the Casa Herbalife Vietnam Programme has helped more than 1,100 needy children at seven Casa Herbalife Vietnam centres to have access to healthy nutrition on a daily basis with total grants of over VNĐ17 billion.
In 2021, Herbalife Vietnam also introduced the Star Programme to its Casa Herbalife Vietnam centres to help these children have better knowledge of healthy food and build routines of regular exercise. — VNS
