Manulife Viet Nam receives Certificates of Merit for its

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Life insurer Manulife Viet Nam has been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the HCM City People's Committee for its contributions to the country's life insurance industry.
The company has also been recognised for its efforts to support local communities and charities.
"We are honoured to receive the certificate for our continued focus on helping our customers with their big financial decisions as well as our ongoing contributions to the society," Paul Nguyen, Manulife's CEO, said.
Nguyen was conferred an individual Certificate of Merit in recognition of his leadership of the company.
Since coming to Viet Nam in 1999, Manulife has expanded, opening over 30 offices nation-wide and hiring 17,000 staff and agents. The company focuses its corporate social responsibility efforts on education and health care and helping disadvantaged segments in local communities.
The company also partners with the Viet Nam Women's Union to provide micro-insurance to low-income women. — VNS
