HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – Starlight, a five-star cruise, will be launched in Ha Long Bay on September 15.

The launch of the deluxe, one of the largest of its kind, was announced at a ceremony held in HCM City by the Oriental Sails Company.

"Starlight Cruise, with its 58m-length, 11m width and more than three of draft [depth of a vessel's keel below the water line, especially when loaded] ensuring absolute balance and stability in its movement," said Bui Van Chi, Director of Oriental Sails.

"It is also recognised as the safest cruise line on Ha Long Bay to date, thanks to its doubled bilge and bulwark," he added.

Initially, the company will run one ship and has a plan to enlarge its fleet to five by 2015.

On the occasion of its launch, Oriental Sails is offering a special rate of US$185 per person for a 2 day-1 night stay during September and $215 per person deal for the same package from October 1 to December 31. —VNS
