HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The 2016 Vietnam Golf Magazine Junior Trophy tournament will take place on October 14-5th at Legend Hill Golf Resort in Ha Noi's Soc Son District.
The tournament is expected to attract the participation of 80 - 100 Vietnamese and foreign junior golfers who are living and studying in Viet Nam. Activities at the tournament will include practice rounds with PGA training, a welcome dinner, and participating in golf matches.
Honorary Chairman of Vietnam Golf Association, Chief Organizer of the Tournament, and Editor-in-chief of Vietnam Golf Magazine Doan Manh Giao, noted, "The Viet Nam Golf Magazine Junior Trophy is the brainchild of Viet Nam Golf Magazine, which has hosted many tournaments since 2014. We hope that the event will be a boost to discover golf talents in Viet Nam".
The tournament has also seen the involvement of many well-known organizations and sponsors, including Vietnam Airlines, Titleist, Puma, US Kids, and golf academies throughout the country such as EPGA, Jack Nicklaus Academy, and David Leadbetter. Accordingly, champions will be awarded with golf scholarships, along with a variety of gifts.
The tournament is being jointly organized by Vietnam Golf Magazine, in co-operation with Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) and the General Department of Sports and Physical Training. — VNS
