FWD Vietnam Life Insurance Company Ltd. (FWD Vietnam) opened on November 29 its head office at Diamond Plaza in District 1.

Anantharaman Sridharan, general director of FWD Vietnam, said: “Our new office opening represents an important milestone at the beginning of our journey here in Viet Nam.”

FWD also launched its brand in Viet Nam with a promise to “Celebrate living”. Under the tagline ‘Get ready to live’, FWD plans to be a challenger brand in the market with the aim of changing the conventions of Viet Nam’s insurance industry and helping customers live their lives without hesitation.

Huynh Thanh Phong, FWD group chief executive officer, said: “When we set out to build FWD, we wanted to create an insurance company in Asia that changes the way people feel about insurance. I have no doubt that we are going to deliver on our promise to provide a new and better insurance experience for the people of Viet Nam.”

FWD entered Viet Nam's market in June this year through the acquisition of Great Eastern Life (Vietnam) Company Limited. This was the second of three new market entry announcements this year as FWD continues to expand across the region to realise its ambition to become a leading pan-Asian insurer. — VNS
