The Binh Duong Province-based ceramic manufacturer Minh Long I Company officially debuted its first showroom in central Viet Nam, and the 7th nationwide, in a ceremony in Da Nang on November 28.

The introduction of the showroom will help the ceramic manufacturer, started in 1970, tap into the tourism market in the central and Central Highlands region.

The company also introduced a logistics centre providing products for retail systems in the region and service for tourism with various household and luxury dinnerware under the Lý’s Horeca brand and porcelain souvenirs.

Da Nang, which is seen as a busy tourism site and a connection to world heritages in central Viet Nam, hosted 4.6 million tourists, of which 1.25 million were foreigners, in 2015.

In 2015, the local ceramic producer signed a deal with the HCM City Saigontourist Travel and Hotel Services School to train tourism students in food styling and standardise products on hotel networks across Viet Nam with high-quality products. The company was recognised in the top 100 quality products and services at the ‘Trust and Use Awards 2016’, that named brands trusted and used by consumers in Viet Nam. — VNS
