FPT reported revenue of VNĐ24.1 trillion (over US$1 billion) and pre-tax profit of VNĐ4.3 trillion in the first six months, an increase of 21.9 per cent and 19.3 per cent, respectively, year-on-year.

The group’s earnings per share (EPS) reached VNĐ2,73,2, an increase of 19.8 per cent compared to the previous year.

The corporation’s technology sector, including domestic IT services and global IT services, continues to play a key role, contributing 59 per cent of revenue and 46 per cent of pre-tax profit, equivalent to VNĐ14.2 trillion (up 25.1 per cent YoY) and 2,005 (up 26,3 per cent YoY) respectively.

Global IT Service revenue reached VNĐ11.2 trillion, up by 30.2 per cent, with pre-tax profits of VNĐ1.83 trillion, an increase of 34.6 per cent over the same period last year.

Digital transformation revenue reached VNĐ4.88 trillion, an increase of 40 per cent over the same period, affirming the ability of the group to provide effective and comprehensive services in this field.

The domestic IT services segment still encountered difficulties as demand from firms has not resumed, reaching revenue and pre-tax profit of VNĐ2,975 billion (up 9 per cent YoY) and VNĐ9171 billion (down 24.3 per cent YoY). The group continues to promote cooperation with the government sectors, foreign businesses and other resilient economic sectors to ensure growth.

Meanwhile, telecommunications sector revenue grew by 10.4 per cent over the same period last year, reaching VNĐ7.42 trillion.

The strong demand for education in the IT industry has contributed to boosting FPT's education revenue by 42 per cent compared to the same period last year, reaching VNĐ2.75 trillion. — VNS
