HA NAM (Biz Hub) —  The northern province of Ha Nam has promised Seoul Semiconductor Co from South Korea optimal conditions in operating a business here, including an adequate labor force and infrastructure.

Vu Dai Thang, vice chairman of the provincial People's Committee, made the pledge during a working session on January 26 with representatives from the firm, who had expressed interest in establishing a plant producing semiconductor products and LED lights in the province's Dong Van I Industrial Park.

Ha Nam will ensure the provision of round-the-clock electricity, clean water, waste water treatment, favorable customs procedures, a labor force and other services for foreign investors, he said.

Jo Shuaan, director for strategic planning at Seoul Semiconductor, praised Ha Nam's open investment attraction policy and expressed his hope that the locality would help his company to establish itself in the area.— VNS
