Shanghai-based Eaton, a global power management company, announced its partnership with IT distributor firm Elite JSC in distributing its products in Viet Nam on Thursday.

Underscoring Eaton’s commitment to the Vietnamese market, the alliance enhances access to the company’s uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and power protection solutions, particularly for the IT industry, as demand for energy continues to grow.

“Despite disruptions brought on by COVID-19, Viet Nam’s economic growth has been forecasted by the Asian Development Bank to remain one of the highest in Southeast Asia. The country’s rapid digitalisation and industrialisation over the past years have accelerated energy demand, with electricity consumption growing faster than output,” said Gary Ang, Country Manager, Eaton Vietnam.

“Our partnership with Elite JSC will enable us to help customers address these growing needs, ultimately improving people’s lives and the environment, by providing efficient, reliable and safe power management solutions,” Ang added.

From January this year, Elite JSC has been appointed as an authorised distributor for Eaton’s Distributed Power Quality (DPQ) and Critical Power System (CPS) products in the market of Viet Nam.

“Our partnership with Eaton completes our current IT offering with the addition of leading power quality products and solutions. We’re confident that Eaton’s DPQ and CPS solutions, such as the 1-phase UPS, will meet the needs of our customers and lend them the required power management capabilities,” said Pham Trung Kien, Country Sales Director, Elite JSC.

Established in the Asia Pacific region during the 1970s, Eaton provides sustainable solutions that help customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical power. Eaton’s 2019 revenues were $21.4 billion and it has approximately 97,000 employees, sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.

Founded in 1995, Elite Technology JSC has become one of the top 3 leading Vietnamese technology distributors for major companies such as HPI, HPE, Microsoft, Oracle, VMWare, Fujtsu, and Huawei. The company provides solution packages for both hardware and software with the best warranty service to customers. — VNS
