Digiworld Corporation (DGW) on Wednesday signed a key strategic partnership with InfoFabrica, a Singapore IT-based consulting organisation to supply multi-cloud services.

Under the agreement, the two companies will deliver end-to-end cloud solutions, and offer customers with best-of-breed hybrid and multi-cloud services to fit their dynamic business requirements.

The services will include cloud consultations which can help scope, assess and recommend the most suitable cloud approach aligned to the organisation’s business requirements.

It will also help customers explore opportunities for maximizing cloud computing and identifying the best cloud strategy for organisations.

Two other services enable organisations to build faster, better and more cost-effective cloud strategies, and to implement cloud solutions with enterprise platforms and tools to identify security risks and possible gaps during data and computing migration to the cloud.

“There is a huge potential for the upcoming cloud market in Việt Nam as the country has been developing exponentially in the IT market and infrastructure within the past few years. Digiworld, as the biggest ICT distributor and Market Expansion Services provider in Viet Nam, has a large customer base and is able to reach out to many other business entities. Their agile and dynamic business management aligns with our vibrant and synergic team to push ahead of the fast pace cloud market,” according to an InfoFabrica press release.

Doan Hong Viet, CEO and General Director of Digital, said that the cloud first appeared in 2002, which was predicted to be “the next technological wave" and "the most advanced technologies of the 2010s" by technology experts.

However, in Viet Nam, its usage is still not widespread.

According to the Ministry of Planning & Investment, as of December 12, 2016, the total number of Viet Nam active enterprises was approximately 640,000, with most being of small and medium scale.

In addition, there has been an increase in young entrepreneurs who are dynamic and innovative.

Viet said the strategic partnership would help Digiworld capture opportunities from the cloud, and promote improvement for the Vietnamese enterprise community when applying the cloud to their business. — VNS
