Fusion Hotel Group has announced the appointment of three new general managers for its hotels and resorts in Huế, HCM City and Quy Nhơn City.

Peter Meyer, CEO of Fusion Hotel Group and Lodgis, said the three are well equipped to deliver continued success in their new roles.

“Each of these new general managers brings a wealth of experience and vitality to their respective hotels across Việt Nam... Marcus Wirsching is the new GM of the group’s flagship culinary-led property, Maia Resort Quy Nhơn.

He has over 30 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, including 10 years in Việt Nam.

He has worked in the field of food and beverages at restaurants and hotels around the UK, Germany, the Middle East, and Asia.

He has also played managerial roles at reputed luxury brands, thus combining expertise in both large global chains and independent creative brands around the world.

Hot spring resort Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion in Huế, recently ranked by Travel + Leisure Magazine as third among the Top 10 Hotel Spas in Việt Nam, has seen Eugene Hendricks take over as GM.

An experienced professional, he graduated in hospitality from the renowned hospitality school Ecole les Roches in Switzerland.

He has several years’ experience at leading hotels in Việt Nam as well as in the Maldives, Australia, Thailand, and his home base of Malaysia.

Ronald Espiridion takes over as GM at Fusion Suites Sài Gòn, the nine-storey glass-fronted hotel in HCM City’s business district.

He returned to the group after his previous operations manager position in 2019 – 2020.
