Central Retail Viet Nam on Thursday opened a Tops Market Moonlight supermarket on Dang Van Bi Street, one of the main streets in HCM City’s Thu Duc City.
It is the first new version of the Tops Market supermarket to be opened in Viet Nam after the retailer completed the rebranding of its seven Big C supermarkets into Tops Market in 2021.
Covering an area of nearly 1,500sq.m, the store offers more than 15,000 items, including fresh and frozen food, bakery, dairy products, ready-to-eat food, groceries, and health and beauty care products.

Olivier Langlet, CEO of Central Retail Vietnam, said the opening of the new store marks the beginning of the group’s plan to invest VND20 trillion (US$869.6 million) in the Vietnamese retail market in the next five years.
“One of Tops Market’s missions is to be the trusted partner of consumers in providing the best quality local and imported food products.
“We continuously source and import a variety of high-quality products from around the world.”
Tops Market has self-checkout counters to help customers save time. These are popular in western countries, but still new to Viet Nam.
To mark the opening, the supermarket is offering promotions, including discounts of up to 50 per cent on many products. — VNS
