Capri Everitt to raise funds for needy children

Capri Everitt will be singing the Việt Nam national anthem Tiến quân ca (Marching Song) with more than 100 students and many children of Đà Nẵng's SOS village.

HÀ NỘI (Biz hub) — Đà Nẵng's Asia Park will have the honour to welcome the youngest ambassador for the SOS Children's Villages International, Capri Everitt on March 18.

The 11-year-old Canadian is travelling the globe singing 80 national anthems in 41 different languages to raise money for SOS Children's Village, a charity that provides homes for orphaned and abandoned children worldwide.

At Asia Park in Đà Nẵng, Capri Everitt will be singing the Việt Nam national anthem Tiến quân ca (Marching Song) with more than 100 students and many children of Đà Nẵng's SOS village. The event is part of a global movement to empower children and to get them more involved in making the world a better place.

Việt Nam's Đà Nẵng city will be the 31st destination in Everitt's journey, which started on October 11, 2015, from Canada. In her performance in each country, Everitt sings the national anthem in the native language with local children.

SOS Children's Villages International has also been conducting many community activities in Đà Nẵng every day from March 16 to March 19.

Asia Park, a VNĐ10-trillion (US$450 million) project of real estate developer Sun Group, is a leading amusement park in Southeast Asia.
