Canon Marketing Vietnam said it has launched a new campaign aimed at widening its customer segment.
Speaking at an event to launch new products on Thursday, the company's vice director, Le Thanh Hang, said in Viet Nam Canon has for long been known for traditional products such as cameras, and many people do not know that is also makes many other products like printers, scanners and projection screens.
So the “Smart Investment-Empower your business”campaign is also aimed at introducing these solutions to customers.
The company has claimed the campaign on advanced solutions in images, screening, securities, and operations has beenrun around the world and helped companies cut costs by 20 per cent and increaseoutput by 30 per cent.
As part of the campaign, Canon has launched a series of newlaser and inkjet printers targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Pixma G series ranges inprice from VND6.8 million (US$298) to VND11.8 million ($517).
The imageCLASS series costs from VND9.4 million ($412) to VND28.5 million ($1,250).
The Japanese giant has been in Viet Nam since the 1980s and has four plants where 25,000 people work.– VNS
