Sacombank is offering promotions worth over VND3 billion (over US$128,234) until June 16 in response to the Governments policy to promote non-cash payment.

Individual customers registering for any Combo package will not have to pay fees for the first six months.

This package consists of current account management service, Internet Banking and automatic balance notification and card payment.

Non-individual customers registering for it will get free use of it and electronic banking services. Existing customers will be get a waiver of maintenance and transaction fees when registering for e-banking services.

The bank will refund VND100,000 to the first 5,000 card-transaction customers with transactions worth at least VND200,000 on June 16, Viet Nam Cashless Day.

It will also waive charges for all transactions such as money transfer to other banks, mobile money transfer, money transfer to Visa/MasterCard, and purchase of non-physical prepaid cards done using electronic banking services on June 15 and 16.

Customers with Visa cards (credit, debit or prepaid) and Sacombank Pay accounts will receive incentives under the banks "Only VND20,000 – Receiving24K gold" programme.

Customers making contactless or QR code payment for the first time using Sacombank Visa cards or Sacombank Pay account of VND20,000 or more will be refunded VND20,000 per transaction and given a code to participate in a lucky draw for one tenth of a tael of 24k gold.

This promotion, with prizes worth VND2.8 billion ($119,587), will run until September 30. — VNS
