HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Voters have named the Bluffs Ho Tram Strip in the southern Ba Ria — Vung Tau Province as the best golf course in Viet Nam for 2015.
The votes were counted in a contest sponsored by Viet Nam Golf magazine, in coordination with Vietnam Golf Association, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the General Department of Sports.

Sacom Tuyen Lam Golf Club & Resort was awarded the best new course, and Da Nang Golf Club, the best managed course. Montgomerie Links Viet Nam can now boast the best tourism attraction course, while Languna Lang Co Golf Club was recognised as the best golf resort course and best design.
The official vote for Viet Nam's Best Golf Course was launched at the beginning of this year and closed on July 31, with more than 185,000 votes on its website www.vietnamgolfmagazine.net. The nominees were 18-hole courses that were officially launched and operated before December 2014. After gathering the online votes, the judges visited most of the golf courses to give an accurate evaluation and rating.

The contest is aimed at highlighting Viet Nam's golf courses and promoting the country as an attractive destination for tourism and golf.
Thirty-two golf courses participated in the contest, competing for 22 titles. The criteria for the votes included scenery, design, the challenge presented by the course, golf experience, the natural environment, the climate and location of the course, and accessibility. — VNS
