The Tan Hiep Phat Group last week inaugurated the first phase of its beverage factory in Nui Thanh District of the central province of Quang Nam.

The 26ha factory, expected to cost VND1.82 trillion (US$80.08 million), is the first beverage factory in Viet Nam equipped with the most advanced technology, with each line capable of producing 48,000 bottles per hour in the first phase.

After its second phase is completed, the factory can produce 500 million litres per year, providing about 300 direct jobs and thousands of indirect ones.

The provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Khanh Toan spoke highly of the factory’s high-tech equipment. He added that the factory is being developed in line with the province’s investment attraction strategies, which give priority to eco-friendly projects. — VNS
