Online FX and CFD broker Axi has wrapped up the 2023/24 football season by launching a new campaign called “The Mentality Edge” with a video featuring players from English football club Manchester City’s women’s team.

Kerstin Casparij, Jess Park and Mary Fowler come on it and talk about how they achieve their competitive edge in the game.

Hannah Hill, head of brand and sponsorship at Axi, said the campaign aims to highlight that, in life and work, focus, long-term goal setting, the smart use of data, and patience and perseverance are key elements to success.

“Strategy, focus and stamina are key aspects of winning in football.”

The campaign is Axi’s first with Man City Women, and one the broker is extremely proud of, she said.

“Not only did we have an incredible time creating content, but we are also thrilled to emphasise the message that when it comes to achieving potential success and finding the edge, the essential qualities remain the same: preparation, strategy and trusting the process.”

Having grown their sponsorship portfolio for the 2023/24 season, last year, the broker announced a partnership with Spanish La Liga club Girona FC as their official LATAM online trading partner.

This was followed by the launch of the Axi Penalty Challenge in spring, exclusively targeting the LATAM audience.

Last year, Axi’s “Select Your Edge” campaign featured Man City stars Erling Haaland, Kyle Walker and Rodri to introduce new offerings.

In addition to Man City and Girona FC, the broker also partners with Brazilian club Esporte Clube Bahia and England international John Stones as Axi’s brand ambassador.

The company has customers in over 100 countries including traders, trading businesses, banks, and financial organisations who carry out transactions on global financial markets.

It offers a range of assets including CFDs for several asset classes such as forex, shares, oil, precious metals, coffee, indices, and other commodities. — VNS
