Align Technology Inc has announced the opening of a training centre in HCM City’s District 7 that will provide clinical education and process demonstrations for dental professionals.

It will also highlight the benefits of integrating Align’s solutions and treatment options into their practices.

The company’s regional headquarters in Singapore is developing more training programmes for doctors as well as new marketing initiatives to generate greater awareness among patients.

The new training facility in Viet Nam will educate doctors in the company’s entire portfolio of products like the invisalign clear aligner system, the invisalign go system, invisalign first treatment, and Vivera retainers.

They will also provide doctors with hands-on experience in using iTero imaging systems for restorative and orthodontic procedures.

“The … training centres showcase Align’s commitment to Southeast Asia,” Sasithorn Theinthong, its managing director for Southeast Asia, said.

“Our goal is to ensure that dental professionals are prepared to meet the growing demand for invisalign clear aligners and recognise the enormous potential of providing the best care for their patients.

“Every time we release new technology, we provide our doctors with all the knowledge and insights they need to use it in their practice.

The company recently reported it had 8.6 million patients, trained over 182,000 doctors and a presence in over 100 countries.

It is seeking to accelerate its business by deploying new technologies to support doctors with COVID-19 recovery efforts, it said. — VNS
