Sacombank has launched a promotion programme called “Opening new card, getting cashback and wining iPad” that will run until year-end for customers who apply for Sacombank Mastercard debit cards or already have them.
Those who apply for or acquired a Sacombank Mastercard debit card since March 1 this year but have not used will get a refund of VND100,000 (US$4.28) on their first transaction that is worth at least VND300,000.
The two cardholders with the highest transaction volume and total transaction value worth at least VND50 million ($2,142) will receive an iPad Pro 11 inch 128GB Wifi for the periods from August 12-September 30, October 1-November 15 and November 16-December 31.
To qualify for the prizes, customers need to send a text message saying THE MASTER [together with the last 4 numbers of the card] to 8149 before carrying out their transaction.
The transactions eligible for the programme are online payments (Ecom), POS/mPOS swipe and QR code scanning worth at least VND300,000, with those done overseas and on foreign websites counting as double the number of transaction.
Sacombank Mastercard international debit card is linked to payment deposit accounts at the bank. Customers can use the money in their accounts to make transactions using the card, which offers two major benefits: insurance for online shopping and personal information protection.
With the former, customers can make claims of up to VND4.5 million ($193) each time goods purchased online are damaged or delivery is not made or incomplete.
The cardholder's personal information is highly secure thanks to Mastercard’s global surveillance system, which will send an email alert as soon as a leakage in information is detected.
Sacombank Mastercard debit card holders can carry out transactions around the world by scanning QR codes to make payments or withdraw money, withdraw cash for free at all Sacombank ATMs, shop online, and get discounts of up to 50 per cent when dining, shopping and traveling.
To get a card, customers only need to have an ID, citizen identification or passport. Customers who apply for a card this year will have the annual fee waived for the first year (for primary cards). — VNS
