Car imports rise in September

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — About 7,000 completely-built units (CBU) were imported in September this year, bringing US$132 million in revenue, reported the General Statistics Office (GSO).

The number of CBUs imported in September is about 1,000 units more than that in August, but the revenue fell by $4 million respectively.

The automobile market has been stable since June this year as the number of imported cars remained at 6,000 units and above per month, the highest number in the last three years.

It's expected that the imported automobiles market will become busier in the last few months of this year. Several new car models were launched recently, including the BMW M4, the Rolls-Royce Wraith and Porsche Macan.
