MANILA — The Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM), known for its 'Xanh SM' brand, has officially launched Green GSM, the first all electric taxi service in the Philippines.

This launch expands GSM’s presence to a fourth international market following successful entries in Việt Nam, Laos and Indonesia and marks a significant leap forward in its 'Go Green Global' strategy aimed at promoting sustainable urban mobility worldwide.

The event also brought together nearly 100 strategic partners from key sectors including banking, transportation, energy, retail and technology.

Green GSM will commence operations across 10 of the 16 cities and districts that comprise Metro Manila, home to over 13 million residents. The service features an exclusive fleet of VinFast Nerio Green electric vehicles, which offer smooth and silent rides, fully powered by clean electricity with zero emissions.

The taxis sport a signature cyan color, a blend of green (sustainability) and blue (innovation), symbolising the brand’s mission to champion a modern, eco-conscious lifestyle.

Green GSM is more than just a transport service; it's a movement toward a cleaner, quieter and smarter urban environment. Each ride with Green GSM supports a vision of sustainable living, providing a premium experience while helping to combat climate change.

As GSM expands its green mobility footprint, it reinforces its commitment to shaping the future of transportation: cleaner, smarter and more responsible. — BIZHUB/VNS
