Binh Son Refinery and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) has just sold the first batch of new defence fuel products to the Gasoil Department und the Ministry of Defence.
This sale includes a total of 35,000 cubic metre (m3) and the next phase totaling 45,000 m3.
In the next year plan, BSR is expected to produce 120,000 m3 for three types of products including Jet A-1K, DO L-62 oil and RON83 gasoline.
BSR Chairman Nguyen Van Hoi said that the sale of this batch of defence fuel was an important milestone in the co-operation between the Ministry of National Defence, the Gasoil Department, the Viet Nam Oil and Gas Group and BSR to research and produce special fuel for national defence in order to gradually take the initiative and be self-sufficient in fuel sources for military activities, ensuring national security and sovereignty. — VNS
