HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Lexus, a luxury brand car from Toyota Motor Corporation, may enter the Viet Nam market by the end of this year through Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV).

The news has yet to be confirmed by TMV. If it is real, domestic car lovers will no longer have to import Lexus through unofficial suppliers and will also enjoy after-sales service.

In the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association report about the 2013 Vietnam Motor Show, it revealed that Lexus would be one of the high-end cars on display at the Saigon Exhibition and Fair Centre in HCM City from October 23-27.

According to VnEconomy, although it is the first time Lexus will appear at the exhibition, the distributor will show many models popular in Viet Nam, such as LX 570, IS 350, LS 460, ES 300h. In particular, Lexus LFA, a supercar in every sense, is also expected to be on display.

Lexus is a favourite car on the Vietnamese market. Its competitors such as BMW, Mercedes-Bens or Audi have been in the market officially for a long time. — VNS
