German car maker Volkswagen (VW) has debuted a showroom in the central city of Da Nang, marking the 12th in Viet Nam and the second in the central and central highlands region after Buon Ma Thuot showroom in Dak Lak Province.

Volkswagen Da Nang said the showroom, which was built with total investment of VND30 billion (US$1.3 million), will supply global standard service, spare parts and accessories and maintenance service for car models that have been introduced into Viet Nam’s market.

Eight models are available in Viet Nam, including the Volkswagen Beetle, Polo Sedan and Hatchback, Touareg GP, Passat GP, Tiguan, Sharan, Jetta and Scirocco with prices ranging from VND690 million (more than US$30,000) $30,000) to VND2.49 billion ($110,000).

The German automobile maker has launched 12 showrooms in Ha Noi, Vinh, Buon Ma Thuot, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Binh Duong and HCM City. — VNS
