HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Book Distribution Joint Stock Company (FAHASA) has been listed as one of the top 500 retailers in the Asia-Pacific region by Singapore-based Retail Asia magazine.

This is the fourth year FAHASA has been included on the list, which has been released annually since 2004.

The rankings are based on surveys of regional economies by market-research firm Euromonitor International. The countries and territories included are Australia, China, India, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, the South Korea Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

In the first nine months of 2013, FAHASA's revenue reached VND1.2 trillion (US$57.1 million) and is expected to reach VND1.6 trillion ($76.2 million) this year, a 5 per cent increase from 2012. — VNS
