SINGAPORE (Biz Hub)— Two-way trade between Viet Nam and Singapore exceeded S$11 billion (US$8.76 billion) over the past eight months, an increase of 3.5 per cent year-on-year, according to a report.
The Singapore Department of Statistics (DOS) said on October 1 that imports from Viet Nam kept a moderate increase of 18.5 per cent, reaching S$2.1 billion, despite a 4-per-cent decline in the country's total import turnover in the period.
Telephones, accessories, machineries, equipment and crude oil imported from Viet Nam were among products that saw the highest rise. — VNS
