HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Binh Dinh Province People's Committee and Vingroup Joint Stock Company broke ground for the construction of the biggest-ever tourism area in the province on Sunday.
With a total investment of VND3,500 billion (US$166 million), the Vinpear Hai Giang covers an area of 656ha. It is designed to be an eco-tourism site including a five-star hotel, villa area with commercial service and sports center, cable car system and a 18-hole golf court.
The 1.5km cable car system, which first appears in central Binh Dinh Province, is being built in Quy Nhon City from Mui Tan to Phuong Mai peninsula. It will have 35-40 cabins and can carry 800 passengers per hour.
It is expected to be completed and come into operation in 2017. — VNS
