The forum at the Frankfurt am Main city attracted more than 100 Vietnamese and German enterprises.

A TPA representative urged the German enterprises to avail of the opportunities to expand business and investment in Việt Nam and pledged to create favourable conditions for German investors.

Jurgen Ratzinger, International Director of the Frankfurt IHK, appreciated that such a forum has been organized and said it underlined the relationship between Frankfurt and Viet Nam.

Viet Nam is considered an important partner of Germany. The IHK has always been part of the two countries' initiatives to boost bilateral economic and trade activities.

Udo Corts, a former minister at the Hessen State, stressed the role of education and training besides co-operation in economic development. He expected the two countries' businesses would pay more attention to train highly-skilled human resources.

Nguyen Minh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen provincial People's Committee, introduced the advantages that the province offers to German companies and made a case to invest in the province.

Earlier, at the Viet Nam Trade Office in Berlin, the TPA delegation, representatives from Hung Yen, Nghe An and Quang Binh provinces held a working session with the Trade Office and representatives of the Association of Vietnamese Enterprises in Germany. — VNS
