The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will strengthen cargo transportation in April to ensure domestic and international trade.
The carrier intends to operate about 150 cargo flights between Ha Noi and HCM City and from Nha Trang and Can Tho to Ha Noi.
On international routes, Vietnam Airlines operates more than 130 cargo flights to Northeast Asia (Japan, South Korea, China and Hong Kong), Southeast Asia (Thailand and Singapore), Europe (UK, France, Germany and Russia) and Australia.
Vietnam Airlines said it would continue researching and promoting cargo transportation from now until the end of the year in order to promote the country's socio-economy, while maintaining production and business activities in the face of difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. — VNS
