DA NANG (Biz Hub)— After 11-months of processing, Doosan Heavy Industries Viet Nam has shipped 2,000 tonnes of made-in-Viet Nam boiler equipment to be used on the 800 MW super-critical coal-fired Kudgi Power Plant in Southwest India.
This marked the second shipment of the US$77 million contract signed last year to produce high-end boilers for the thermal power plant.
The company has previously exported Viet Nam-manufactured boilers to Brazil, Saudi Arabia, India and Egypt.—VNS
