HA NOI – The executive board of Truong Hai Automobile Joint Stock Company (Thaco Group), one of Viet Nam's leading manufacturers, has appointed Nguyen Hung Minh as general director of the group with effect from April 23.
Minh replaces Tran Ba Duong who recently resigned from the post. Duong, the group's founder and executive board chairman, holds more than 63 per cent of the group's shares in conjunction with his family.
The group's business results last year were hit by the gloom surrounding the automobile market. It earned a revenue of VND10,389 billion, marking an 11 per cent fall compared to 2011. -- VNS
